There’s 2 super actors, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds. People would think, yes this is going to be a good movie. Don't get me wrong, this movie is good. Has that wow factor and the alien? Let this be a lesson to everyone. Do not play around with alien. If its pretending to be dead then let it be pretending to be dead. So in this movie we have Jake and Ryan.
Southpaw and Deadpool, both of them should be allowed to live and not kill one of them in the middle of the movie. The storyline was easy to understand because for some outer space movies the production went ballistic throwing every scientific out of space word ish to the audience. For dumb movie goer like me it feels like I don’t even know what I'm watching. It feels like “I know you’re talking to me but I don’t know which button I should press”, the translation just got lost.
The guy who just had a baby have my most sympathy, poor guy. Didn’t get the chance to meet the newborn, this only shows that some things you have to let go when you choose to work in space. It’s a job hazard, like who would’ve guess an alien would go berserk on killing spree?
The alien is good looking alien, and the way it can stick and jump and can survive in the space and also super smart. In short the alien is a great alien, although it does feel like a little bit imba cause humans are limited to human capability. But in alien pov, I would definitely be rooting for this one. Which brings me to, when the alien had enough blood and evolving bigger I can almost picture it that this alien would look like the ones in Cloverfield. I’ve include the exhibit A and B for further inspection and discussion.
The twist in the end of the movie was actually one of those 50% probability, and since the plot has already killed a huge star as the first one to die it is almost predictable as to why the plot chooses that pod to reach earth.
